What does rooibos mean

Just doing a bit of reading and found out that Rooibos literally means “red bush”. For centuries, this plant has been very useful to South African natives. They basically use it as “tisane” or herbal tea (a term used generally for non-caffeinated drinks) to prevent and treat several types of diseases such as hypertension, heart attack, obesity, muscle sores, variety of skin infections and a whole lot more. One unique characteristic of rooibos is that it has NO CAFFEINE. It can be served for the general consumers- from children, pregnant women and adults. It has a fragrant, unique, spicy-sweet aroma that’s very distinctive among other herbal teas. It has relaxing and calming properties which makes it very suitable for almost every person in every line of work. You can have as much as you want to.
